An FPS where every action costs power, defeat the swarm of enemies in the four sectors of the facility to restore power. Dash through levels and collect power cells to enhance your systems and try to not waste all your energy!
EASTEREGGS & LEADERBOARD UPDATE
Two different jam games (Power Mode & Shpoobo) from the BigMode 2025 Jam have hidden sprites in various levels!
This game is a pseudo sequel to a previous game jam entry that I decided to redo with a relevant theme and remake completely from scratch.
Controls:
- [WASD] Move
- [Left Click] Shoot
- [R] Reload (Costs energy! Don’t waste it)
- [Right Click] Use Sword
- [Space] Jump
- [Shift] Ground Slam (Shares damage scaling with sword)
Credits:
- Palindrome: all programming, all 3D modeling, all shaders, some SFX, and all sprites excluding textures.
Assets:
- Textures from Little Martian: Retro Texture Pack
- SFX from Shapeforms Audio: Free Sound Effects
- Music from Andrey Sitkov: Music Loops Mini Set

Leaderboard seems busted but no worries, I have video proof of my dominance.
Great game again. Palin_drome is king.Thanks for playing! Don't worry your scores are in the database, it's just that your name was typed with the exact same characters so the largest score (slowest time) is the only one displayed. I removed your slower times your on top now.
I really should stop reusing code I made in 30 minutes and make a new leaderboard system, I'm not sure if silent wolf (system I'm using) is being updated anymore either.

Is the final boss platform supposed to have no collision btw? It has a brick texture, but you fall right through it.

I love the hidden the Shpoobo in level 2, thought it was a really clever refence. ;)

game wouldn't start :\
:( could you please tell me if you were playing the web version and if the game hanged during loading or the game paused when starting? The downloadable version doesn't have that issue so I may disable the web build. Thanks for letting me know.
When I clicked web build, itch said page not found. Ps don't try to update the build. A Big Mode admin said it might delete your files if you do!
Hey sorry about that I had the page hidden by accident but I'll just remove it for now for fairness sake, don't worry about it. I actually have the files still on this page they are just hidden, I upload multiple copies so I can reveal/hide them if something goes wrong.
